I want to set up a system on my myspace account to allow users to enter a question and then click a button to submit that question to my email account. I don't know how to use php, etc., I would just like a way to send a question (in a text box) to my email account. Is there a easy way to do this? The best answer will be the one that provides the coding to do this (so I can easily copy and paste). I have asked similar questions about this, but have not been able to get the help I need. Thanks for your consideration in answering this mind-bogglin question.

There is no way to do it using just HTML, so I'm not sure if this is even possible at all on MySpace. You'd need to use something that can process a form POST request, either a CGI (common gateway interface) program or something like php.

i met a guy from my school (Same grade) so he was in my class but i never really knew him well, then he began liking me and started calling me from the directory and sortof started stalking me and i got freaked out. so then once i was trying to be nice and i agreed to slow dance with him for ONE song. it totally lowered my self confidence

second thing is

my friend she has a guy best friend and used to have a boyfriend

so she decided to put the boyfriend as number one on her top and her best guy friend got really mad (and btw the best guy friend has a girlfriend too) and they got into a HUGE fight, and now they don't even talk anymore

and it seems like a lot of my friends are getting hurt by what place they're put on in myspace

first delete your myspace

If possible I would like to change that box into a blank box like the About Me section as at the moment the headings indent all the text making it squahsed and the headings are not applicabe to what is on there.

I would like to center the images on my myspace profile without having to center the entire profile. For example,

My images are all crammed to the left of the image boxes. I'd like them to be aligned, as when you write a report or something using Microsoft Word, and you press the "center" button and all the text gets centered.

This can take a lot of patience. It's all about how creative you are. Start by using all the tools and see what different things you can do.

You can also download different fonts as well as brushes, which you can find tutorials for by searching on google.

Eventually you can make your own brushes, backgrounds, ect...(which there are also tutorials for online)

one of my friends left me a comment on my myspace and when i checked it i noticed that my other comments where beside each other and not below like they are supposed to be. I have deleted some of my comments to try to fix the problem and even tried a new layout. There is no really big graphics or huge text to make it do this. I havent done any adjusting my profile in a while except trying to delete the comments that i thought were making it big. It is not working! Any thoughts or insight on what the problem might be! So basiclly, when you find a layout/icon/etc. on a webpage such as mywackospace.com or some other webpage with myspace stuff, you have to find the "code" for it, which is probably the thing u were pasting. Be sure to get all of it, and nothing other than the code.

Then paste it into your profile in "edit my profile"

If its a layout people usually past it into about me but you can past icons and other things in any section you want.

Then, if you still see the code/numbers/etc. on your profile, if there arent many, write them down, find them in the code u pasted, and delete them while in "edit profile"

This might be a bit tricky, but ive done it. Some things give you these "webpage icons" of where you got the "things", which really bugs me, and by using that tech. i got rid of that 2. Its usually the end part of the code.

Be sure to copy and past only the code, nothing else!!

It could be that the thing you are trying to put into your profile has a code error, in which case there is not much you can do.

I've been regularly changing different codes to my myspace layout so i decided to make one that doesn't show my interests table, similar to my friends' space in which she doesn't have a left side of the layout with the player and the details and the interests. She has it blank so she can have her custom text overlapping it.

She gave me the code, but it didn't work for me cause it deleted the interests table since it won't show. I've tried deleting the whole layout code and saving it and it still doesn't show up, it's like it's deleted from the system.

1.where it says friends status, act like your going to comment one of your friends.

(it doesn't matter which one)

don't send a comment.

2. copy that URL

3. replace"URLHERE" with that code.

4.change the friend id to you own.

You need to add a watermark. The programs you are using should help you with this if they have the capability. You will also have to register your watermark and there may be a fee for this.

If one of those prorammes has layers you could always just put some text on a new layer, rotate it and turn transparency to , i dunno, 20%

One of those programs should have a function called watermark. That will add clear text for you.

You can also add text in the middle with the text function. If you color match it isn't terribly distracting.

You can, in the encoded information, add a copyright by putting in (C) your name and the year.

I don't know about any of those programs but in Adobe Photoshop 4, you can import your picture, make another layer on top of it and set the Opacity of that layer to about 50% so that text on that layer will appear semi-transparent. Then you can save over the original picture and use it however.

Because you put it in about me section, it will be in your about me section on your profile. You need to put it in the Body tag where the background image is located. This would make it show at the very top. Or, you can define an area to display the marquee using a %26lt;div%26gt;.

then click on comments on your homepage.

I want to make my Myspace "quote" larger and in the color of white. But I'm not sure in what order exactly to put in the color code AND the font size code. So far I have this:

So i See People Complaining about myspace profiles..and why they act so slow or make ur pc freeze!!..

the truth is that the profile u click on myight have a lot of things running,,like:flash toys,flash games..lots of videos,scrollin text..etc..

even if your pc is upto date with all the security things...

Ok i have been talking to this girl on myspace and i asked her if she would like to hang out sometime and she said yes and gave me her phone number. A call is bad enough. Texting is even farther removed. Never let technology get in the way of communication. The farther removed you are from a face to face conversation, the more likely things will be misinterpreted.

basically the tables have a trandparetnt background image and so it's not like an precocity thing, it's an image back there. If I knew how, I would steal the image, but I forgot how to do that. If i figure it out, I'll return the answer. :)

When I see a profile I like, I left click and select view page source (or like title depending on what browser you are using). You can see the script they used, ect. I usually copy the code in the About me section and alter it. It's best if you save the code in notepad so you have a copy if you mess up. Delete parts of the code you do not need. Usually you can figure out that code does what, like table id=musicnav would control the music navigation bar. With this method, you can have a skeleton and alter it the way you want. As you mess around with the code, which I suggest you start out with just changing the color codes and the background image first, you will be able to see how the profile changes as the code changes.

Always start the code with %26lt; script %26gt; (without the spaces) and end it with %26lt; /script %26gt;

all you have to do is go to the persons profile and copy their friend id found in their url.

then click on comments on your homepage.

then up at the url just replace your friend id with theirs.

I just logged into MySpace for the first time in a while. They don't appear to have the server capacity for their oversized pages, there's more errors than a chess game programmed in C by an inebriated Amish guy, and it lets people who get off on seizures, not being able to see text against a background, or just poor layout, have -way- too much control over HTML and CSS they don't understand. The butcheries of Flash presented as MySpace games, and the cries of "HAI2U!" from people who want be be my friend for no reason at all, haunt my dreams.

When was it that the quality of these great tubes of the interwebs started to fall? What happened to the days on IRC, where ignorance was always scorned as a sin against god, and elitists frightened away anyone whose heart wasn't made of frozen coal? What had to happen so that people got the idea "MySpace Parties," where people who don't know eachother had to drink until they forgot how lame it was?

Where did it all go wrong?

You should call but not yet. I usually find calling around 7pm is usually a good time to call people. Any sooner and they have probably not long got in and eaten and need a bit of wind down time. Any later and it could come across as a bit creepy, especially 1:45am. Besides hold back a bit, you do not want to come across as too eager. If you are interested definitely call, it is much better than text or email, keep it short and sweet and leave her anticipating the date! Good luck!

Jailbreaking is basically hacking a device to do something it wasn't intended to do.

The iPod Touch CAN go on Myspace without any hacking or jailbreaking, just use the built in wifi and browser and type in www.mypsace.com. As for text messages, you can send them if you go to a provider's website (like verizon.com, sprint.com etc.) and they usually have a little box where you can type in a number and message, but there's no way to send them outside of that. A phone, it's not.

Alright. I recently started making div layouts. Everything on them works fine, and everything was showing up. Now all of a sudden the pictures that I had on them won't show up. Neither will text areas and all that. Other people have no problem seeing them, though. Every once in a while this would happen before, but a few hours later it would work again. This has been going on for 2 1/2 days now though. There isn't a message from tom on myspace saying that somethings wrong, so thats now it. I've tried looking at the pages in firefox, IE, and opera, and it won't show up on any of them. Help me?!

She used paint to put together the text/picture thing. to get that go to paint and then type about you and chose your font. For the pictures find the pictures you want from photobucket/google whatever then paste it under your text. And for the format you need to find a layout.

I make my own layouts for my page...as in coding/graphics. Basically I start with Adobe Photoshop, and make the background I want. There are various brushes I use or effects in Photoshop. A lot I've learned online since 2002, by reading tutorial sites. Once I do the background...then I use that to do the graphics for my contact table or whatever else.

Once I have the graphics made, then I use the coding that I have always used in my layout....usually tweak it here and there for colors or pixels widths, etc.

If you see it in your head...I'm sure you can do it with some practice. Just get Adobe Photoshop...

you might have to re-code everything...it has happened to me...when you use more than one coding site, it can interfear and cause your page to expand with coding words...type strikefile in a search engine %26amp; use thomases myspace background creator thingy =] it works best!

alright this one's kinda tricky. First of all MySpace is updating their API. So they're trying to block out a lot of the spam (haha good luck), and a lot of other things such as layouts. Make sure you're using the CORRECT VALID non DEPRICATED HTML codes.

So this Saturday night I went out. Well one guy I met came back later to pick me up and I went home with him and hooked up with him. We cuddled all day the next day and wanted me to stay longer and cuddle but I had to leave because I was meeting up with my friends for shopping. So later on that night he text me how was shopping and I responded and that was the end of that? So now I am like WTF because I text him last night asking for his email address so I could add him on myspace and he never replied??? So then I get to work yesterday and there was an email from another guy I met saying hey do you remember me? And then he was like you told me you wanted me to take you out and he left me his phone number. So I texted him yesterday back and forth asking his age and what happened that night because I didn't remember much. From the sounds of it nothing happened between us so now I am wondering why both guys haven't called or text me today??

i was hiding it before because i didnt really like it

but now myspace got new updates

and also the new mood thing i really like the new updates

but since i was hiding it
