can anybody tell me where i've gone wrong here? the comment box has appeared and the message is there that i want but if someone tried to submit a message it says invalid friend ID =S

You made a simple mistake, At the beginning of the code where it says: "name=" you put your friend ID. You are NOT supposed to put your friend ID that needs to say name="friendID" You do NOT replace those words with your friend ID. you only put your friend ID where it says value=

I think it might have to do with your whole layout. Not all layouts support the same thing. Try a new site and see if it does the same thing. Because you could have a DIV layout.

Just get a new code.

I've been making myspace layouts since 2005 and

something is definetly wrong there with your ID. Sometimes Codes will change when you insert them and that's because people who make them don't know what they're doing. I'll I can say is to get a new one.
