How do you set a photo as your myspace background without the blog and other areas covering it? How do you set the background on your blog and profile areas to be transparent so the image behind it shows through with just text scrolling over it? I hope I'm being clear enough...not really familiar with the terms.

I want to set up a system on my myspace account to allow users to enter a question and then click a button to submit that question to my email account. There is no way to do it using just HTML, so I'm not sure if this is even possible at all on MySpace. You'd need to use something that can process a form POST request, either a CGI (common gateway interface) program or something like php.

To switch your tables, simply replace "rtl" with "ltr" or vice versa.
RTL = Right To Left
LTR = Left To Right
Use this code, it works better than yours (I tried yours)...

i met a guy from my school (Same grade) so he was in my class but i never really knew him well, then he began liking me and started calling me from the directory and sortof started stalking me and i got freaked out. so then once i was trying to be nice and i agreed to slow dance with him for ONE song. it totally lowered my self confidence
second thing is
my friend she has a guy best friend and used to have a boyfriend
so she decided to put the boyfriend as number one on her top and her best guy friend got really mad (and btw the best guy friend has a girlfriend too) and they got into a HUGE fight, and now they don't even talk anymore
and it seems like a lot of my friends are getting hurt by what place they're put on in myspace

If you really wanted her back here's something you can do:
first delete your myspace

If possible I would like to change that box into a blank box like the About Me section as at the moment the headings indent all the text making it squahsed and the headings are not applicabe to what is on there.

What ever profiler editor you used your text heading wasn't formatted to match the rest of text headings and some editors its referred to as Table Headings. And maybe that will help you out.

I would like to center the images on my myspace profile without having to center the entire profile. For example,
My images are all crammed to the left of the image boxes. I'd like them to be aligned, as when you write a report or something using Microsoft Word, and you press the "center" button and all the text gets centered.
But when I get the code for "center your profile" all the images on the entire profile come to the center, when all I want is for each section of images to be centered. How can I do this? And is it even possible? Thanks!

This can take a lot of patience. It's all about how creative you are. Start by using all the tools and see what different things you can do.
You can also download different fonts as well as brushes, which you can find tutorials for by searching on google.
Eventually you can make your own brushes, backgrounds, ect...(which there are also tutorials for online)

Ok so I'm on myspace in the edit profile and I go to profile editor up top. I'm trying to customize my page. How in the #$@? do I change the color on my text or headings? Please help?
Click on the Profile Editor, then press Start. Go to the Tab in the upper right hand corner and click customize. There, in the heading, there is text which you need to click. once you click that a little heading will come down and it has the setting to change the Heading Color

no one will see it in that font, because it does not exist on the viewer's system, it exists on yours.
you should use the font in a picture, and then upload it for people to even be able to see it on your myspace.

one of my friends left me a comment on my myspace and when i checked it i noticed that my other comments where beside each other and not below like they are supposed to be. I have deleted some of my comments to try to fix the problem and even tried a new layout. There is no really big graphics or huge text to make it do this. So basiclly, when you find a layout/icon/etc. on a webpage such as mywackospace.com or some other webpage with myspace stuff, you have to find the "code" for it, which is probably the thing u were pasting. Be sure to get all of it, and nothing other than the code.
Then paste it into your profile in "edit my profile"
If its a layout people usually past it into about me but you can past icons and other things in any section you want.
Then, if you still see the code/numbers/etc. on your profile, if there arent many, write them down, find them in the code u pasted, and delete them while in "edit profile"
This might be a bit tricky, but ive done it. Some things give you these "webpage icons" of where you got the "things", which really bugs me, and by using that tech. i got rid of that 2. Its usually the end part of the code.
Be sure to copy and past only the code, nothing else!!
It could be that the thing you are trying to put into your profile has a code error, in which case there is not much you can do.

I've been regularly changing different codes to my myspace layout so i decided to make one that doesn't show my interests table, similar to my friends' space in which she doesn't have a left side of the layout with the player and the details and the interests. She has it blank so she can have her custom text overlapping it.
She gave me the code, but it didn't work for me cause it deleted the interests table since it won't show. I've tried deleting the whole layout code and saving it and it still doesn't show up, it's like it's deleted from the system.

If you have no text or content in the Interests sections, the table will automatically not show up.

You need to add a watermark. The programs you are using should help you with this if they have the capability. You will also have to register your watermark and there may be a fee for this.
If one of those prorammes has layers you could always just put some text on a new layer, rotate it and turn transparency to , i dunno, 20%
Or just put in writing in the bottom corner or somewhere with different colours on the letters, and put your name or username or summit. just keep a copy without it on.
One of those programs should have a function called watermark. That will add clear text for you.
You can also add text in the middle with the text function. If you color match it isn't terribly distracting.
You can, in the encoded information, add a copyright by putting in (C) your name and the year.
I don't know about any of those programs but in Adobe Photoshop 4, you can import your picture, make another layer on top of it and set the Opacity of that layer to about 50% so that text on that layer will appear semi-transparent. Then you can save over the original picture and use it however.

Because you put it in about me section, it will be in your about me section on your profile. You need to put it in the Body tag where the background image is located. This would make it show at the very top. Or, you can define an area to display the marquee using a %26lt;div%26gt;.

all you have to do is go to the persons profile and copy their friend id found in their url.
then click on comments on your homepage.
then up at the url just replace your friend id with theirs.
then their comments show up.

either crack or phish their password and enter their account as a owner instead of a guest, but that is kinda cruel, they might be hidden for a reason

I want to make my Myspace "quote" larger and in the color of white. But I'm not sure in what order exactly to put in the color code AND the font size code. So far I have this:

You could use

(sizing this way can be 1 for very small up to 7 very large)
Or you can specify relative sizing

That would make the text 2 times larger than normal or default.
White can also be designated as #FFFFFF in case you see it that way somewhere.

the truth is that the profile u click on myight have a lot of things running,,like:flash toys,flash games..lots of videos,scrollin text..etc..
that stuff freezes peoples pc..!!
even if your pc is upto date with all the security things...
so next time you click on a friends profile..tell ur friend to take out most flash,or videos,as it will slow ur pc's memory!!!

Ok i have been talking to this girl on myspace and i asked her if she would like to hang out sometime and she said yes and gave me her phone number. I dont know her that well at all, but we see each other in school sometimes (high school). A call is bad enough. Texting is even farther removed. Never let technology get in the way of communication. The farther removed you are from a face to face conversation, the more likely things will be misinterpreted.
I know that it is more difficult, but a face to face conversation allows you to send and receive facial expressions and body language as well as words. With a phone call, at least you get the sound of the voices and the inflection of the voices.
Texting, blogging or email (or even letter writing) just exchanges words, nothing extra. They should only be used when no direct contact is possible.
Call her. If you are really interested, make a date to meet in person. This is the best way to allow a relationship to grow.

The most usual answer for hiding the last login involves hiding the entire block of text next to the image, and then spoofing it (making it say whatever you want).
It is difficult to hide just the last login.

David is correct, the lastlogin class used to exist, but has not been there for a very long time (over a year?)

if you want to hid your last login go to the Myspace Customizing forum and ask. You will get your answer there and you wont need to have some stupid advertisement image on your page.

You can set the background of the text by setting the style.

basically the tables have a trandparetnt background image and so it's not like an precocity thing, it's an image back there. If I knew how, I would steal the image, but I forgot how to do that. If i figure it out, I'll return the answer. :)
When I see a profile I like, I left click and select view page source (or like title depending on what browser you are using). You can see the script they used, ect. I usually copy the code in the About me section and alter it. It's best if you save the code in notepad so you have a copy if you mess up. Delete parts of the code you do not need. Usually you can figure out that code does what, like table id=musicnav would control the music navigation bar. With this method, you can have a skeleton and alter it the way you want. As you mess around with the code, which I suggest you start out with just changing the color codes and the background image first, you will be able to see how the profile changes as the code changes.
Always start the code with %26lt; script %26gt; (without the spaces) and end it with %26lt; /script %26gt;
